THESE WINES AND OLIVE OILS ARE THE NEW ART PIECES TO HAVE
From limited-edition wines to small-batch olive oils, these products are designed to elevate both your table and your aesthetic.

The perfect mix of luxury and functionality, made in small batches, getting attention from your favorite celebrities, and doubling as decor. This week’s newsletter is here just in time for the weekend. SOFIM is where taste, design, and hospitality come together. Let’s get into it.

KATKOOT: Where Wine Meets Art
Katkoot, the Italian wine brand founded by brothers Giovanni and Francesco Bassan, has garnered attention from fashion tastemakers like Bella Hadid, A$AP Rocky, and Offset. Known for their avant-garde approach to winemaking, Katkoot combines luxury with artistry, creating wines that are as much about design as they are about taste.
Each bottle is a collectible piece, featuring a detachable bronze base that doubles as an ashtray, blending functionality with sculptural elegance. The brand's "Equal and Opposite" philosophy encourages embracing contrasts, pushing boundaries, and celebrating the unexpected.
With a focus on collaboration and craftsmanship, Katkoot continues to redefine what luxury wine can be, attracting a global following of those who appreciate the fusion of art, design, and fine winemaking.
La Terra di Neena Makes Its Debut
La Terra di Neena is putting small-batch Sicilian olive oil on the map, with roots in heritage and an eye for design. Founded by Tyler Billinger, the Chief Marketing Officer of Crosby Studios, the brand blends family tradition with modern aesthetics. While Crosby Studios is best known for its fashion-forward design collaborations, here the studio lends its visual identity to elevate the packaging. The oil itself comes from a Tuscan farm restored by Billinger’s family and is produced using traditional small-batch methods. Its debut at Milan Design Week’s Capsule Plaza featured 200 laser-engraved canisters, designed to be seen, touched, and appreciated before it ever hits your feed..

OFFICINE GÉNÉRALE: A Fashion Show in the Heart of Paris
For his Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Pierre Mahéo of Officine Générale hosted a show at Café Le Rouquet, a charming Parisian spot near his home. The setting, with its 1950s vibe and neon-lit ceiling, captured the essence of everyday Parisian life.
Mahéo, inspired by his daily espresso and people-watching, wanted a show that felt real. "It’s a strategic spot for stylistic observation," he says. His collection blends casual elegance with thoughtful design, shaped by everyday moments and feedback from friends.
Since 2013, Mahéo has focused on quality fabrics with a luxurious feel. His café show emphasizes that fashion is about connection, not spectacle. "Meet me at the counter to discuss it," he invites, proving style thrives in real, meaningful moments.
